ABOUT BOBBY
I have lived in Elmhurst for eight years. Together, with my wife, two kids (grades 3 and K), and two dogs, we quickly realized that this was the best place we’ve ever lived. And it’s not even close. I am running for Alderman so that I can contribute to the community that has given us so much joy and fulfillment.
As a father of two young children, I realize the value of planning for the long-term.
As a systems engineer, I understand that everything is a trade-off and that all aspects of decisions must be considered carefully.
As a technical lead and manager, I am able to work with others to solve complex problems.
As the brother of someone with special needs, I believe that if you have the ability to contribute to your community, you also have a responsibility to do it.
As an Elmhurst resident, I am thankful for the many great aspects of our town while acknowledging the challenges and pressures that we must navigate.
As a coach for my daughter’s 3rd grade basketball team, I enjoy teaching our kids about skills, character, working as a team, and the value of incremental improvement.
“Hello, I’m Bobby’s wise, old, one-eyed dog, PUnchy. Have I ever told you about the time when, as vice president of his Homeowners’ association at the last place we lived, Bobby led a coalition to resist over-application of HOA rules, preserving homeowner autonomy?
He got a lot of thanks from his neighbors for that!”
